SEARCH is pleased to announce that Katie Lantzas-Olson is joining the company as Project Manager. A member of our dedicated Offshore Wind Sector, Katie enhances our capacity to provide industry-leading service to our offshore wind clients across the US. Katie is a regulatory expert with archaeological experience across the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Greece, and England.
Katie has more than 20 years of cultural resource management experience. Prior to SEARCH, she served as Cultural Resources and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Program Manager for Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana. She also developed the standard tribal consultation template used for both Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and non-CERCLA actions for Mid-Atlantic naval installations as well as the Post Review Discovery Plan for NAS Oceana.
Katie earned her PhD from the University of Sheffield in 2010, specializing in Aegean archaeology. She considers her most exciting archaeological discovery a 3,000-year-old burial of a woman at Mycenae from a period when the site was thought abandoned.
