SEARCH has completed thousands of historical research investigations and reports across the US and more than 30 countries. Our work includes regional studies, military histories, land-use reviews, oral histories, biographies, archival research, thematic histories, corporate histories, architectural histories, legal histories, and facility histories. Our staff have authored reports covering a wide expanse of chronological periods and geographic ranges, and we regularly provide historic content and context for national documentary media, as well as research and documentation to support National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) nominations. Our full-time historians meet or exceed the Secretary of the Interior’s (SOI) standards and hold doctoral and advanced degrees in American, International, Maritime, and Public History.
