SEARCH has worked with numerous state, federal, international, and private clients to recover human remains and has provided material evidence and further stewardship of burials and cemeteries. We help ensure that sensitive resting places are located accurately and that the individuals interred are handled appropriately and respectfully. We also provide services to identify unmarked burials, document cemeteries, develop plans for the care and long-term maintenance of cemeteries, and assist our customers with the relocation of human remains. We follow bioarchaeological best practices to ensure the proper treatment of human burial material.
