SEARCH Wins $48 Million Contract from AFCEC

The Air Force Civil Engineer Center has awarded SEARCH a $48 million Blanket Purchase Agreement for cultural resources management services that will include various projects over the next five years. SEARCH will provide archaeology, architectural history, and ICRMP support throughout the United States and the US Territories.

SEARCH Wins $25 Million Contract from USACE Mobile District

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District has awarded SEARCH a $25 million cultural resources services Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) that will include multiple various projects over the next five years. SEARCH will provide archaeology, underwater archaeology, and historic architecture support to the Mobile District and the South Atlantic Division's (Mobile, Jacksonville, Savannah, Charleston, and Wilmington Districts) customers on Civil Works and Military projects anywhere in the United States (including Hawai'i and Alaska), Central America, and South America.

BOEM Report Receives Outstanding Resource Document Award

SEARCH is pleased to announce that the Inventory and Analysis of Coastal and Submerged  Archaeological Site Occurrence on the Pacific Outer Continental Shelf report has been selected for an Outstanding Resource Document award from the California Association of Environmental Professionals. ICF International (ICF) led the multidisciplinary team that included SEARCH and Geoarchaeological Research. The study presents data on significant archaeological sites, Traditional Cultural Properties (TCPs), built environmental resources, shipwrecks, potential culturally sensitive submerged landforms, coastal and submerged site potential, and paleolandscape reconstructions.

The award will be presented at the 2015 California Association of Environmental Professionals Conference held in Santa Barbara, California in March.
