SEARCH supports government and commercial customers seeking to create resilient infrastructure that fully considers the effects of climate change on cultural resources and associated communities. We work in advance of climate change-related projects and have the experience and logistical infrastructure to support disaster-response situations.
We were selected by the US Air Force to laser scan and complete large format photography of a historic lighthouse in advance of its relocation due to coastal erosion, while the Florida Department of Transportation contracted us to support stormwater infrastructure improvements in Miami-Dade County in response to rising sea levels. We also leveraged LiDAR and multispectral imaging to visualize solutions to flooding caused by rising tides along Maine's coastline. We have drafted the Department of Defense National Emergency Cultural Resource Response Guidebook and have the expertise to conduct macro-level studies and projects at the community, county, regional, and national levels. Our media teams generate compelling, scientifically accurate content for public outreach, mitigation, and education.
Clients include the National Park Service, departments of transportation, the Department of Defense (DoD), and architectural/engineering (A/E) firms.
